If you're keen to upgrade on your DualSense, read on to find out everything there is to know about the PS5 Edge Controller, including its release date, price, pre-order information, and technical specifications.

Is there a PS5 Edge Controller release date?

The PS5 DualSense Edge release date is 26th January 2023. This is a global release date, so the PS5 Edge controller is scheduled to release in the UK early this year along with the rest of the world.

You don't have to miss out on any of the fun regardless of where you happen to live in the world this time.

It's worth noting that the release date of 26th January 2023 is direct through PlayStation only in the UK. You will be able to purchase the DualSense Edge through other participating retailers from 23rd February 2023.

What will be the PS5 Edge Controller price?

The PS5 DualSense Edge costs £209.99. This eye-watering sum is something of a surprise and above previous estimates of how much it would set you back.

Given that the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller RRP is £159.99, Sony is asking a lot for its equivalent fancy customisable controller. On top of the £209.99 RRP, you will also be able to purchase replaceable stick modules for £19.99 RRP. These will also launch on 26th January 2023.

Can I pre-order the PS5 Edge Controller?

Pre-orders for the PS5 DualSense Edge Controller opened on Tuesday 25th October 2022 at select retailers. In the UK, you will only be able to pre-order the DualSense Edge Controller and replaceable stick modules directly through PlayStation from 25th October.

Check back with your favoured stores later on to pre-order the pricey controller.
